Every adult shirt here is cut in a relaxed unisex fit and comes in XS through 2XL. The shirts are pre-shrunk. Our size chart lists chest ranges: XS 31–34″, S 34–37″, M 38–41″, L 42–45″, XL 46–49″, 2XL 50–53″. If you are unsure, go with the size of the tee he wears most often. If he likes room to layer a long sleeve under a flannel, choose one size up.
